Woodstock Groundhog Days
Groundhog Day Celebrations are held annually every year in Woodstock Illinois. The tradition started 2 years after the 1993 movie Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray, was filmed in Woodstock. January 29th- February 5th. Visit the website for more information and to see a full calendar of events.
Lakers/SnoBugs Radar Run
Februrary 5th, 2012, Radar Run: Center Beach on Wonder Lake. Radar Run Event Details: 9 AM - 3 PM. 1000 ft run. Ice & Snow Tracks, if weather conditions permit. Candlelight Ski
Discover the beauty of cross-county skiing on trails lit only by candlelight. Bring your own skis and enjoy refreshments afterwards around the campfire. Skiers of every level and age welcome. Locations rotate between five site depending on snow and trail conditions.
